Fiber in eggplant is high, about 2.47 grams per 100 grams eggplant. Eggplant is one of nightshade family vegetables with tomato, capsicum, potato, etc. That vegetable category generally is high fiber and contains alkaloids (acts as antioxidant). However, in some people, for example people with autoimmune and arthritis, they need to limit nightshade family vegetable including eggplant, it is needed to make them stay healthy.
