As SlimGourmet's Director, she received her Master degree from University of Sydney with High Distinction; completed food service and clinical training in several hospitals and aged-­care centers; and worked in Sydney as a clinical diabetes dietitian and research dietitian focused on weight management and disease prevention.


Currently she acts are a personal dietitian to several SlimGourmet VIP clients and artists.Additionally she is a frequent health contributor to several magazines, provides healthy talks, cooking demos and corporate wellness programs.

The majority of which follow a meal plan for weight loss or to manage a medical condition (such as diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension, gout, cancer or kidney disease). SlimGourmet also provides health talks, event catering, cooking demos and healthy lunch bento boxes.

RESIST is a randomized controlled trial that investigated the effects of two different diets on insulin sensitivity in 111 obese adolescents with insulin resistance and/or pre-­diabetes over a 2-­year period. Conditions commonly seen include dyslipidemia, polycystic ovarian syndrome and hypertension.

  • Provided nutrition education, support and counseling to participants and parents on how to follow their assigned diets
  • Collected, organized and assessed data related to the participants’ anthropometry, biochemistry and dietary adherence
  • Contributed towards writing of manuscripts and presenting of results

Sydney Children’s Hospital Network (Westmead), NSW

The Diabetes Centre provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient diabetes services to children and adolescents in the metropolitan area and regional NSW. The care of more than 800 diabetic patients are managed by a multi-­disciplinary diabetes team which includes specialized physicians, nurse practitioners, diabetes educators, dietitians and social workers. Multiple areas of diabetes management include: insulin pump therapy, obesity, complex type 1 and 2 diabetes.

  • Facilitated in support groups and education days for children with diabetes and their parents/caretakers
