Is It Necessary to Exercise during Fasting?

Exercise is human basic needs because doing exercise regularly can increase your fitness, stamina, and endurance. Fasting should not be a reason to get your way stay healthy and fit. The important key to stay fit during fasting are being active, doing exercise, and eating healthy foods. According to research, healthy adult people can do vigorous exercise eventhough they have been fasting for 72 hours.

Aerobic exercise in medium intensity such as jogging, treadmill, and cycling are suitable exercise to do when fasting. Those exercises can be done in the morning or in the evening towards breakfasting time and you also have to notice your own body’s condition. Nevertheless, exercise should be balanced with nutritious food intake to maintain your body fitness. To maintain your muscle mass, in breakfasting time, eat food that high in carbohydrate and protein. Those nutrients can help in restoring your muscle loss. Then, please make sure to eat balanced nutrition food during sahoor time. Meals that can be consumed in sahoor time should consist of macro nutrients (carbohydrate, protein, and fat), and also eat plenty amount of fruits, vegetables, and water.
